The seminar ISSE 2019 will provide a forum for participants to discuss and present recent results, new ideas, and ongoing work on the development of efficient methods and software tools for solving various equations and equation systems, to report on novel applications of equation solving methods in science, engineering, and industry, and to initiate or strengthen research collaborations on multidisciplinary subjects. The seminar will bring together in particular researchers from the areas of symbolic and numeric computation to exchange views on the significance and trends of research of numeric or symbolic and algebraic methods for solving equation and equation systems. The scientific program of the seminar will feature invited talks and contributed presentations.
